Television Remote Controlling Apple TV

I just installed the new Apple TV and now the tv remote is controlling the Apple TV and not the TV which makes it very difficult to switch to a different input.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

On Sony TV-s you should first click SYNC MENU on the remote and select the destinaiton of your commands. By default it will control the connected external device over HDMI-CEC.
