My mom is eligible for an upgrade, but since I bought my iPhone 4 on launch day, i'm not eligible yet. She can purchase the iPhone 4S, and we will switch SIM Cards, so she can have my 4, and I'll take the 4S. When the iPhone 5 comes out eventually, I'll buy the 5, and she'll take my iPhone 4S. Does this make sense?

I've been working this with my wife's and kids iPhones since the 3G! It's great.
My wife and I get new phones every year!
