Do you guys have same problem? Temperature is missing. It sometimes shows the temperature but most of the time it’s empty. Annoying...

It happens to me occasionally with Weather complications. I go into the iPhone Weather app, delete the city, then re-add it. That typically solves the problem.

Apple has known of this problem for at least a couple of months yet somehow can’t fix it before launching new hardware. I’ve submitted reports only to have them closed.

Did that two days ago, then yesterday lost my temperature at least a half dozen times.

Yes, this complication is broken in watch os 5 (all betas) on both series three and four; haven’t tested on an earlier model.

It’s simply beyond belief that Apple would market and ship a watch face with these weather-based complications and they don’t. f*cking. work. most of the damn time. It’s really unacceptable.

It’s especially unacceptable since they were warned by paid developers for weeks and weeks. What’s the point of testing the software if they refuse to fix it?

I've been having this issue since watchOS 4.2. It seems to be more of an issue with how Apple is pulling the weather data, rather than watchOS itself. It just seems to be more frequent as of now.

Thanks for the insight. I’ve noticed the behavior follows the default city that is set for weather, but changing that up only allows me to reproduce the problem at will.

Man, I hope the geniuses at Apple get this bug fixed soon. They’ve obviously known about it for a long, long time.

Someone posted a temporary solution - create a second watch face that also has the weather complication. When the weather temperature does not show up on the first watch screen swipe over to the second watch screen and it should appear on that screen then swipe back to your first watch screen and the temperature is now showing in the complication.

Works for me in OS5 (and previously in OS4).

Sounds like it’s related to the date not changing at midnight on the infograph face. You have to do the same duplicate face hack to force a refresh.

I’ve noticed this randomly in 4.x on my S3 long before WatchOS5 and before I got the S4. Haven’t had it pop up on my S4 yet. I also have it set to pull local weather from gps location instead of a set city. I believe the issue is with the weather channel and the api Apple uses to pull the data. The API would be provided by the weather channel not Apple created. I don’t believe it has anything to do with the hardware or even the OS.

Thanks, I will give this a try.
