Just out of curiosity, what is the average temperature for your MBP?

I just got istat the dashboard widget and I can't make heads or tails of the temperatures it's giving me. LOL....

I've noticed a lot of the users post in ℃ but I'm not accustomed to the metric systems (I'm in the US). I have it set to ℉ but I'm still not sure what are 'good' or 'bad' ranges for my MBP to be in.

    Thanks. C:

    Download Smcfancontrol from macupdate.com - http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/23049

But I get around 50-60 idle. Then 60-70 if doing anything. 70-80 is watching HD videos, editing videos, etc.

Because my CPU is at 62℃ but all the other temperatures are between 30-40℃

I think you're talking about the CPU though.

    On the fence
Sounds about right. If it gets hotter than it likes to be, the fan will speed up.
