Does the 7 Plus have the same front glass dimensions as the 6S Plus? If so will a tempered glass protector for a 6S Plus work on the 7 Plus?

Those are generally fully covered by tempered glass protectors anyway aren't they?
Zagg's HDX and Invisible Shield have a cutout for the ear piece. If it's wider on the 7 (and I guess it is) then the ones for the 6/6+/6s/6s+ won't work. They cut it fairly precise.

Zagg is worth every penny you pay though with the quality of the product, their guarantee and excellent customer service.

Left is an old iPhone 6/6s tempered glass I had laying around, right is a new iPhone 7 tempered glass.

Pic taken with an iPhone 5c.

It's been years since I used a screen protector. But their older style Plastic (tpu or whatever) got replaced for me no questions asked when it started peeling.

My gripe with screen shields now is that they don't cover the entire front of the device. Not only that, there's a U shaped cut out for the home button rather than circular. It's just clear as day that you have a shield in there and I feel like the point of it isn't disappear.

Zagg makes a full cover as well.

Not arguing, just letting you know.

I've never tried one because they color the top and bottom areas the color of the bezel of the style of phone you have. I'd prefer it to just be clear.

it covers the curved glass? So it's not ALL glass, there is some (other material) border?

I don't see it here, but I may be looking the wrong place?

EDIT: Lol yes I do... glass luxe. Still looks like a flat pane though?

EDIT 2: This video with closeups looks pretty good. My wife upgraded to a 7... I may get her this since she is kind of... rough lol. But they also don't seem to make this particular screen shiled for that model yet.

Was looking at getting the Spigen Tempered Glass Protector for my 7 plus but I noticed it doesn't have a cutout for the selfie camera. Is that something to worry about? Will it affect quality?

Sorry, should have been clear. They made this glass for the 6 series (and the 5 series).

I assume they would continue to make it for the 7/7+ but that wasn't what I was thinking when I was mentioning it.

But, yes the Luxe version would be that product. If there is another element included it would just be the top and bottom colored parts. The rest is tempered glass.

EDIT: Oh, I think I get what you mean now. Yeah, the 'full' cover does not cover the slight curve up from the sides. Just the entire flat part of the front. But the Luxe version is different than the HDX and Invisible Shield because it has actual cutouts whereas the other two cover slightly less and have a gap down the middle to the cutout parts.

Very mixed reviews on the Spigen. Some love & others hate. Do a forum search to see for yourself.

FWIW, I asked them whether they had the proper cutouts for the new device, as opposed to essentially repackaging the protectors from the 6S plus and they confirmed to me that they did. I've ordered it so will be waiting to see how this goes down.

I'm thinking about ordering from another company just as a backup since the Spigen has shipped and delivers on the 20th.
