Negative? Explain Please.

So who votes negative on this thread? Just give me hint as to why (I want to better understand my fellow man).

I can almost see voting negative to "iPad Cures Cancer" (maybe a cancer doctor who will lose his income, or someone who thinks $499 is too expense to cure cancer). I'm not saying I agree with that, but I concede it's possible.

But to negative an avatar contest? Please enlighten me.

I guess people do it for one of two reasons :-

1. Think different, vote different

2. You are a Troll and it makes you feel fuzzy inside post in a Mac forum.
