I've picked up an iMac G5 and was quick to install TenFourFox on it. All of the software I've put on this thing is 2004-05. I want to if possible match the aesthetic of TFF with these apps, if anybody knows of themes that add brushed metal, or make it look like old Safari (or even Firefox 1-2 for that matter) please let me know. I've never been one to theme browsers, so I'm a bit lost here.

Late response, but when I try to download it says I need to Get Firefox first.

Go into TFF prefs and change the user agent to Firefox 52 or 60. In the "Advanced" tab.
I only get an option for 52, and the addon needs 53... I might be out of luck unless I can copy it from a newer install

I could have sworn the latest versions of TFF had UAs for 60 and 68...

Change it to FF 52 anyway, and go into about:config. Search for "general.useragent.override". In the above parameter's string, look for a mention of "52". Replace it with "60".

Afterward, try downloading again.

After changing it it let me install, but it says the addon is corrupt. I'm not sure what would've changed between 52 and 53.

Just a note. There was a change in FF addons at some point. Kaiser remarked on it a while back. If you're trying to download current addons they won't work. They are more chrome type addons now than what they used to be.

It's one of the reasons Kaiser had a thread about archiving existing addons.

Right, you need to go into its version history and find one that isn't corrupt. Once you do that for each, they can be offered individually as a convenience to the rest of the community.

TFF has FF60 UA not FF68

I was right!

That's probably because the version I was attempted to install from is a fork of TFF and not up to date, this must've been a recent addition. I'll try it from my PowerBook and see if I find those options.

That's why I originally mentioned "latest versions".

Meanwhile, you all are on Iceweasel (FPR13)...
