I am basically trying t find the best browser for my uses along with the best security and options for optimization. Has anyone here simply just switched to TFF completely? I still like Safari a lot but I am finding that TFF performs better. Does anyone else think so or do most PPC users rely on a miz of browsers for their tasks?

Thanks for the input!

I did. I am 100% on TFF. The only time I have ever used Safari was to get TFF. Thanks to @eyoungren's customizations and FireFox sync, it works beautifully and perfectly and I get all my stuff across all of my Macs!

Uhhh. Yeah. Since Firefox died with version 3 something.

There's a link in my signature for optimizations you can do to T4Fx. @Altemose even has an easy installer with most of them if you don't want to do it by hand. And there's also a link to an addon if you don't want to do that.

Just click on the link in my signature…:D

Yeah TTF has become the standard and the aforementioned tweaks are great, although if you want that safari feeling at least use leopard WebKit (you do have to be on leopard hence the name) while its not as upto date as TTF it is far better than the stock safari and it's quite speedy. It was my main browser on PPC until about 2 years ago now it just sits in the dock until I feel like giving it a whirl.

TenFourFox is my default browser. However I do have Leopard WebKit installed because not all of the sites I visit support HTML5 - some still need Flash.

I personally still use Safari with a fake version number (7.1.6) as my default browser but switch to TFF when a newer browser is needed or when I'm purchasing something online. I wouldn't recommend putting info for prepaid cards or debit / credit cards online with Safari 5.
