It's obvious why stuff like this ends up on the front page... Apple isn't giving us much in the way of rumors for computers! I am just hoping these next updates are phenomenal. It's been 400 days since Apple last updated the Mac Pro's (Average 236) and over 300 since they have done a MacBook Pro update (Average 200). Don't get me wrong, I love the new products, but where the heck is the new MacPro? I'm guessing WWDC 2011 or 2012 lol.

I really hope Apple previews something about OS X 10.7. I'm getting bored with Leopard.

Do you mean Snow Leopard? Or do mean leopards all together?

I agree. I really want to see that Marble UI that was rumored back in '09.

On what day during these rumored dates:

June 27th - July 2nd

Do Apple actually hold their big event conference?

In fact, what did Google want AdMob for? They don't have enough mobile ad resources? Ha. No, they wanted to deprive Apple of a play on this market. Well, maybe they forgot who they are. Doesn't sound like a "Don't be evil" company would do that, would they?

Look, open source is great. But it's pretty clear that Android is being developed for multi-millions of dollars as a way for Google to make more money. They give this software away for free, and then collect money on the back end. Doesn't matter much which end they pick it up for, does it? Open source, my ass.

You are assuming Open Source is exclusively a non-profit venture. This is not true at all.

While you can easily not make money on Open Source, our economy works on the basis of making a product, getting exchange in a tangible medium and keeping the exchange for ones effort in balance. Those who tax and reward non-production are contributing to the decline of society.

IMO, there are way too many with a socialist undercurrents in the Open Source community for me to take the concept with any commitment. When someone uses Open Source to make huge profits there is inevitably a protest from a group of people that claim the "common man" has been robbed and is being abused. This is a Bolshevik mindset that is a proven social and economic failure since people eventually quit working for not a proper reward of their effort.

If this turns into a flame war, I welcome the fight.

It really feels that way

1 dont want people to think when they get a mac it will get outdated soon thus loosing sells.

2 sells are still going up and hardware is still great so no reason to upgrade.

3 when they do upgrade they want to put a lot of things in in order to make people to upgrade.

i personally think apple should not and would not upgrade most of their computers.

Damn it! I have a wedding on the 26th and then an educational conference like the 29th so I won't be able to go.

But then again, I couldn't afford to go anyways if tickets are still in the $3500 range like years past.

What's a Mac Pro and a MacBook Pro?

Oh yeah! I forgot Apple made computers and not just the iPhone & iPad!

The Worldwide Developers Conference would be held all those days. It's a multi-day event.

I'm aware of that but from these days, which day is the day where Apple actually hold a Keynote introducing the new products, i.e; a new iPhone?

Now if only they would leak the products coming out over the next 5 years. Oh wait, I've got the list!

2010: iPhone HD
2011: iPhone 4g
2012: iPhone 4GS
2013: iPhone Pro
2014: iPhone 5g

You forgot the iPadS, iPadGS and iPadGSX

iLife?

What of iLife?

People used to get halfway excited about iLife. Not anymore? No word at all?

I guess iLife is a weird product. Most people probably don't use much except for iPhoto and iTunes. GarageBand has always seemed rather odd - it doesn't even go with popular consumer devices like camcorders. iTunes is basically it's own thing, now. Still, don't most people use iPhoto?

Or is there a better app out there?

I'd prefer to see updates for Macs other than those iGadgets. But anyway, who give a **** about Macs if gadgets with higher margins sell like hotcakes.

From Steve's perspective: You people started to complain about the high premium of outdated hardwares on Macs "only after" 300 days. Yet I can sell the iGadgets of 2008 [last gen iPhone & iPod Touch] today (nearly 600 days after release) with a merely 20% discount of original price, and they sell like hotcakes. See? Maybe next year I will give you a 20% off for NEW (as shown on store.apple.com) MBP of 2009 out of mercy.
