This works on my powerbook running 10.4.7 but not my imac on 10.2.8

is there a way to get the games in terminal for 10.2.8 as in 10.4.7

Well in 10.4.7 you:

first, open terminal

then type emacs

then press esc+x together

then type either pong, snake or tetris to play a very basic version.

typing the below into terminal will show a list of all the games
ls /usr/share/emacs/21.2/lisp/play

Is there a way to do this in 10.2.8?
