I was wondering whether if I could make the changes done in Terminal permanent?? When I switched onto the Mac OS from PC, I really experienced how innovative the system first hand and loved it and love it now. However, I'am a pretty avid computer gamer and found a way to set the mouse acceleration off via terminal, using this command,

defaults write .GlobalPreferences com.apple.mouse.scaling -1

But whenever I quit Terminal it reverts to the initial settings...
is there a way to make these changes permanent?
Thanks in advance ^^

(btw, I have the newest macbook with Mac OS X version 10.6.6)

There is, yes. I have it written down in a text file on my desktop; the disk is currently not in my mac for various reasons. I will check when I put it back in - I take it you're not in any rush? Should be in a day or two.
