I'd like to create icons on the desktop or dock that open a terminal window and execute a certain shell command. In windows I think they're called 'shortcuts'. If I could set the shell background theme also that'd be great. Any way to do this?

Alternately it'd be cool if when I ssh to a certain host from the terminal, or execute a certain command or alias, it would change the theme. Is there a command line way to change the them?

Thanks!

Steve
