As I'm typing, this is the first time that Terminal ever gave me this message. I play with Terminal everyday so I'm pretty sure I didn't do anything maliciously within the file system. It's weird because it still speaks but the message keeps coming up. Below is the screen shot.

Okay, so I ran Pacifist so I could extract Terminal from the Snow Leopard installation disc but nothing came about. Then I ran repair permissions and everything is clean so that left me with no other choice but to reinstall SL. I was hoping that this would fix it but Terminal is still displaying the above mentioned errors when I command it to speak. Any suggestions?
