Terminal to organise apple emails by date

I have lots of email receipts sent to my email. I want to be able to use terminal to organise emails from a certain date into different folders. Anyone know any tutorials to help me with this?

Why do you need to use Terminal for this? Put them all into a folder, sort by date, and pick out the ones you want in Mail.app.
