The prevailing corporate culture of Apple is arrogant piracy!!
Several years ago I discovered that the Apple pirates had stripped/stolen/looted/removed all of the music from the hard drive of my personal Toshiba laptop. Not just the many tunes I had purchased through iTunes but all of my personal CD’s as well. Some of it from my travels throughout the Caribbean, UK and Europe. The theft included my custom ringtones. I was able to retrieve some of it but lost quite a bit. Much of it won’t play because of the digital rights lock.

This week I got sick of Apple constantly nagging about buying more cloud storage (which I never wanted in the first place) and deleted an iCloud email.
As they walked the plank they looted/stripped/stole/removed all of my personal and business contract information dating back more than two decades.
Apple is an absolutely terrible, monopolistic corporation.

We get it, you don't like Apple. Find another company that fits your ideals. Clearly you should move on. Not only does your post make ZERO sense, it's statistically improbable.

Oh, no place for a real problem in your statistically ideal universe??
After reading an account of a problem that actually exists in the real world you’ve decided there is no place for any of that improbability in your presence. Maybe you’d be happier someplace else.

About the iTunes stuff: No. Not possible. Check your Purchased tab.

Your iCloud data loss is simply not possible. Consult a professional for help - i.e the Apple Store.

That is all.

I'm not sure if I am understanding what might have happened to OP's iCloud/AppleID account.
Sounds like you deleted "something" (after being annoyed with Apple suggesting that you purchase more iCloud storage). Maybe you uninstalled your iCloud app. That, in turn, would remove everything stored there.
I suggest that you contact AppleID support. If you turned off or removed iCloud from your Toshiba laptop, without backing up the data locally, then you might expect that it will be gone, and not retrievable. AppleID support will be able to tell you the status of your iCloud storage.

Stop insulting a company because you made a mistake

The tone and tenor of your post (and your username) your post clearly confirm a lack of objectivity in your complaint.

This is all probably retribution for your username, Apple monitors these forums for criticism and they probably took offense
Ahhhhh, thank you. Mission accomplished!!! After all the grief they have infected on me, I’m very happy to slip a burr under the corporate saddle.
As for all the Applephile know-it-all’s, I have spent many long, irritating and fruitless hours trying to retrieve my music. Not purchased from all mighty Apple but from street vendors and kiosks and swap meets in various countries. Apple’s tech support told me I had no right to put any music on my hard drive because I had only purchased the RIGHT to play it, not actually possess it. Applephiles, please search the web for the multiple law suits and class actions concerning these issues.

lol now that's total horsesh*t. Please, show us the transcript or audio recording of the call in which an actual Apple employee told you you're not allowed to store externally-sourced music files on your computer. Sounds like you may have had your iCloud account compromised, and been given a fake Apple support number.

That or you're a terrible troll. 😂

Looks like you don’t understand how it works when you delete data… maybe next time educate yourself first
