I'll be doing that when my PAYG iPhone is a year old when the free web/wifi bolt on runs out. £10/month for Web & Wifi bolt on, plus standard topup of £15 or £10 per month, the £20 simplicity looks better than standard PAYG.

I'm hoping that Tesco's decision to offer a twelve month contract persuades Vodafone to do the same whenever it is that they begin selling the iPhone in 2010.

Think of the (double) Clubcard points, though!

Vodafone launch the Iphone in Jan. I'm already with them after porting over my number from O2. Network is soooo much better than O2 with data that actually works properly.

Saying that if O2 would have offered me £60 a month for unlim calls and texts then I would have taken it. I ended up moving both my phones to Vodafone business and getting unlim calls, texts and data for £40 each.

It is, but the trouble with the Simplicity is that it does not offer Visual Voice Mail, and you can only choose one bolt on.

So you would have to give up either the unlimited Web or Wi-Fi.

The people that upgraded / purchased their 3G iPhone on an 18 month contract are now up for renewal, has anyone tried to speak to O2, to say you are leaving for Orange / Tesco? Did you get any better deals?

O2 now do Iphone simplicity which includes visual voicemail.

Bought from store on Monday - they were having huge teething problems with the IMEI tracking within their POS software, resulting in a 1hr 40m sale time, and they couldn't even activate the phone in store due to software/firewall problems.

Think the sales side of it has been resolved now, but exchanges are still out... The volume up button doesn't work on my 3GS, so took it back last night to get it swapped out, and yet again, the POS software comes up with spurious errors resulting in lengthy phone calls to their IT provider, who still haven't resolved it (as of the time of this post).

Bit of a rushed job, resulting in a very much "blue stripe" impelementation from Tesco in order to hit the pre-xmas launch date, it seems.

- could be a contributing factor to the lack of presence on the online ordering front.
