I currently have two iPads in my possession, a retina Mini and an Air. I got one as a gift (Mini) and bought the Air. After using them for about a month, my very unscientific tests proved I reached for the Air more. What do I do now with the "extra"? Craiglist? eBay? Where have people found the most success.

Not to rush you or anything, but the clock is ticking. In two months, Apple will announce the next generation Air and mini, and the price you will get for your current version will plummet as ifans seek to unload their current model so they can buy a brand new one.

Craigslist or ebay both work. Craigslist is free, ebay you have to pay a %, but you don't have to worry about getting robbed when you go to make the exchange with your "customer"...

Yeah, I sure hope I can sell it by then. And believe me, you don't have to worry about my fear of Craiglist... I'm out a 5S because of it.

I have had total success on both craigslist and eBay. EBay is quicker sometimes but craigslist has no fees as someone else mentioned. 10% fees plus on eBay! is what it will cost you there and the hassle of having to mail it.
I have both but use the air at home in the mini away from home. The mini sees more use in my case.

If this was my scenario.

I'd use the iPad Air at home.

And the mini everywhere else.

That's how I roll

I always have my Retina Mini in my man-bag, my fullsize iPad is often parked at home in my sofa or at the bedside.

But yeah, maybe the most economical thing is to sell of one while they still hold good value.

Like the others said, two tablets come in handy for me, too! One for the LazyBoy/House and the other stays in the vehicle for field use.

While this sounds lovely, I think I'd rather have an Air + $300 than both... But that's just me!

Never had a bad transaction with CL. I always meet in a public place. Now on the other hand, if you want to talk robbery Ebay and PayPal are two of the worst companies I have ever used. I cant tell you how many times PayPal froze my account for nothing other than to later unfreeze it with no apologies. I stopped using them a decade ago and never looked back. I enjoyed Ebay in the 90's when it first opened up but then they made one change after another to where it was just not enjoyable anymore. Just my 2 cents.
