Testing new iBook ram upgrade?

I am a new iBook owner, my first Apple computer. I've read many posts about upgrading ram and I'm wondering what, if any, software tools are there to torture test new ram. Thanks.

There is a hardware test CD that came in the box .. it includes a RAM test ..

On some Macs, TechTools came installed. This was a while ago, however... I have version 3.0.3 I think it says as it comes up...

The Hardware Test CD that comes with your Mac is the best CD to use.

But no real need to spend money on it when something similar comes for free in the box ..

The Hardware Test CD will work fine for what you need to do.

Thanks, ran the hardware test, ram seems to be fine. I will put it through the real test later, camcorder to dvd processing in iDvd.
