Well if you had a U1 device, it'd do the same thing but vibrate when it does it. I'm heading to the apple store now to get rid of this x.

Thank you for clarifying. Don’t think vibration makes it better, nothing but a footnote. My X is splendid for now :) Have fun with your new gadget.

Ya I seriously don't understand the point of the vibration...

and what is the point of having to click a button to transfer the song back?

I found reminders with a date and time that are completed still show unless I remove the date and time settings. Once thats done completed reminders don’t show across devices.

I’ve filed this bug since iOS 14 development last year and it’s still open and acknowledged.
Good to know but no use in using reminders with no date and time. Guess it’s not a priority to fix if you filed a bug that long ago. So annoying I’m looking for another reminder app to use at this point.

It’s not about the vibration (although it’s a nice feature to signal the imminent connection and interaction).

Previously you just swapped audio and got a notification, when it worked. The new experience is essentially a shortcut to the full Airplay 2 UX for the proximate devices. The functionality is much more complete and consistent.

I posted my utter confusion around this feature just yesterday!
Homepod Mini handoff confusion

- why does it have its own player that slides up and then can only be found long pressing on the homepod icon in HOME (??), or walk back to the homepod
- if I decide to play say music instead of Podcast, why does it start playing on my phone - while the podcast keeps playing on the homepod? What possible use case is this solving? I am the one that intentionally went to the Homepod to transfer to the sound source it it to begin with, who in the history of forever now thinks oh I'd like some music also playing out of my phone?
- why doesnt the podcast position sync back to the phone?

Very very cool potential feature, with some bizarre behavior. Just let me transfer to it using UWB, which is really neat, and then use it as my sound source for my built in apps.

It's too sensitive. I have a HomePod mini on my desk. Now my iPhone continuously vibrates and asks if I want to transfer the song to the HomePod. It's so annoying. I'm turning off the "feature".
I'm having the exact same issue. I don't want to disable the feature as I use it but I can't have it interrupting me every time I pick up my phone.
