You can get it off of www.redsn0w.com
Use at your own risk!
Cant wait till they release a full version
Anyone try it yet?
im trying to install libusb. when i finish i might post a guide
Sweet, although, I do not want to be the test dummy.
Please do! Thanks in advance!
I will probably be doing this, this afternoon. I honestly don't see the big deal with it having to be tethered considering 98% of the time my touch is in sleep mode and I don't ever shut it down nor have I had any crashes since I've had it
Btw, if you go on a trip I would recommend unjailbreaking your iPod before going unless you are going to bring the computer your iPod syncs with.
Well, you're one of the few lucky people. Also, some people like to restart their device to clear up memory.
I agree. unless some of the cydia apps cause instability, im not worried about it although I must wait for a windows based solution
It only works for Macs?!?!?!
Good questions I have no idea I think its only for mac but not sure
Like me, he probably doesn't have a Mac.
didn't read the thread all that well I edited my above post. Your from NM huh? I can't wait to get back to the land of echantment. . . only 2 more years
I'm having a problem with installing libusb
Can you tell me how to?????
I open the configure file, and nothing happens
So... this is only available for Macs I'm assuming.
And yep, it's not that bad down here. Although, we hardly get any snow.
Sorry i didn't state that in my previous post, but yes it's only for now.
Now playing on iTunes: Nas - War Is Necessary
The readme says:
This is for Mac only. But you should be able to find (or work out
on your own) how to do it on Windows or Linux too.
But I found this: http://www.ipodtouchfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=137612
here is the link for the libusb http://www.ellert.se/PKGS/libusb-2008-09-27/10.5/libusb.pkg.tar.gz
I ran rslite and it says it can't find IBSS211.dfu even though I have the file
I'm stuck it says executing iBSS221.dfu
then immediately says cannot open specified file
