I was messing around with my settings and noticed I had a tethering option. I haven't done any mods to my iPhone, it just appeared. I turned it on and tried to connect it to my MacBook Pro via bluetooth, but it did not worked and just disappeared from my phone after a couple of minutes. I
 
Expected update for iPhone 4G

iPhone Tethering is supposed to come out with the new iPhone 4G and new ATT data plans...Maybe apple put it in the software already as a little teaser, for developers, or its a bug? Either way It wont work until its supposed to.

It was a glitch and nothing more. The fact that it didn't stick is proof of that.

It happened to many before and when you try to turn it on it just dissapears.

it doesn't go away on my phone. it tells me to call to activate or go to the website.

edit: i called and they showed nothing about that. i refered to the new data rates, he looked further and said the 2 new data plans and tethering would be able to turn on Monday.
