How do I find out how much data I am using when I tether with my macbook? It doesn't seem to record it on the phone and I want to keep track so I don't go over my 6 gb plan

6GB limit, I assume you are not in the US. In any case, doesn't your service provider (I am going to assume Rogers) provide online support for Data usage. If they do, use that.
they do but you don't find out how much data you've used until the end of the month. Is there any sort of mac app that will tell you how much data you use on a specific connection?
iStat widget has an option to show you how much data you have consumed on a certain session.
