I have an iPhone5 that was JB 6.1.2 and Tether Me. Backed up, upgraded and restored. No tethering available, says to contact at&t. Was there a secret step I missed?

I remember when I upgraded my old JB 4s to a newer OS before it was jailbreak my Tether Me app disappeared just a few seconds after the upgrade was finish in front of my eyes. Tether me is basically the main reason I jailbreak my Iphone 5, so won't upgrade to IOS 7 until am sure there is a way to do it without waiting for the new JB

It would help if you actually read the thread before you post something, the hacked carrier file is what this thread is all about...

Ha - well in that case, the answer is that yes, there have been reports of this working on factory unlocked phones, but failing on network locked phones.

So I'm guessing there is no hack just yet? Tethering is one of the biggest reasons I jb. Having a hack on a factory phone would be fantastic.

anyone get wifi tethering working on the iphone 5s from Sprint? only thing that's keeping me from upgrading to iphone 5s is a lack of a reliable tethering option :(

Ya, I really wish I could get my hands on a secret tether usb app, undetected. I'd pay good money for one too
