I am using the benm.at software on my iphone 3gs and have just received my first bill. O2 have not charged me for any usage at all as it appears that it is included in my free data usage.
See below.

Total volume 142,377 kb
Total cost £0.00

Woohoo for me, lol. 🙂🙂

so far so good! the question is will they figure out and start charging at some point in the future and maybe even try and backdate the charges from when tethering started??

Remember guys, use in moderation. Go crazy downloading youtube or heavy usage and they will 'click' sooner or later.

Let's not spoil it for everyone! 🙂

Amen brother. Let's keep this going for long as possible. I only use it when I absolutely need it. I'm sure if some idiot uses 10GB they wouldn't just
turn the cheek, especially AT&T.

I agree, am only using sparingly until my home broadband is up and running again. 🙂🙂

+1 ^^^ I just got my AT&T bill (USA) and my tethering was not charged either. There was evidence of (40) MMS pics sent via my 3G/3GS iPhone and recorded by AT&T, but no extra charges on the current bill....😛😛😛
