Tethering with Blackberry Bold 9700?

Is it possible for me to tether my Blackberry Bold 9700 (T-Mobile) to my iPad?

I just (finally) bought my WiFi iPad 2 yesterday, after obsessing for months.

One of the big selling points for me was that I already pay for my Blackberry 3G service monthly, and my Blackberry allows me to tether to my MBP with Bluetooth DUN right out of the box.

I tried looking up how to tether to iPad, but results were fuzzy. I think someone said that in order to tether with iPad, the phone must support Bluetooth PAN rather than Bluetooth DUN? *Sigh* I'm lost. Is there any way, even if it's weird and painstaking, that I can get this to work?

When you google there is one that claimed it works, I just recently trying to help a friend and I was not successfully so I just went and ordered a hotspot device for him. Lol it was cheap, $30 a month for 3G of data usage and the device was free.
