Tethering with MBP

So I purchased an iPhone 4s (gets here tomorrow, it's my first one), and I added the 4GB Data Pro from AT&T, so I could tether to my laptop. I was hoping to get some BF2 or other game while on the road. But does anyone know how much data gaming uses?

It turns out ping is quite low. I was hitting around 100ms ping on a Black Ops server. It uses about 3% battery for every 10 mins, and about 1MB of data per min too, usually a little bit less.
