Text alert sounds twice. Cannot change this setting?!

Under Settings>Messages we used to be able to sound the alert a certain number of times. Now my incoming texts I get an alert- then if I choose not to read it right away it sounds again 5 minutes later.

How can I get this to sound only once?

Settings > Notifications > Messages> Repeat Alert
