iPad mini Text becomes more fuzzy when device gets hot

Seems like small text is harder to read after I've been gaming for 30+ minutes. Or am I seeing things? Maybe it's my fingerprints after touching the screen so much because of the particular game.

Any science/physics to support changes to sharpness of the screen due to heat?

Maybe it's your eyes taking time to readjust/focus to reading fine text after spending 30 minutes playing a game which probably had lots of fast-moving things which required less focus?
