Text-editing with iPad

My better half wants to use her iPad to edit an rtf-file that I have sent her as an attachment. The iPad (IOS 9.3.5) appears to have no native text-editor, so she has installed Text Editor, but she has so far completely failed to open the file using TE.

An application called Textilus has been suggested.

Might that be the answer ?
