Hi

I am looking for an app to do some simple note taking. I I have been using Apples built in notes app and while it has limited bold, italic and underscore formatting options, i wanted to see if I could find an app that would give me a few more options.

I have looked at several applications already. Including:

Evernote
Microsoft one note
Notability

Notability came the closest to offering what I want, but the interface is a little awkward and hard to use.

All I am looking for is a text editor that allows me to format text with bold, underline, italics etc, and that would also give me the options to increase font sizes and colours of specific parts of text. The ability to use bullet point lists would be a massive bonus too.

An easy to use interface is obviously also going to be a major help. The ability to sync with iCloud or Dropbox would be beneficial.

In fact what would be great would be if I could have the ability to read and edit any of the documents I create on my iPhone, iPad or my MacBook Pro and Mac Pro.

Any help offered would be greatly appreciated

Thanks.

I've used a ton of text editors on both iPhone and iPad, and Microsoft Word has been a total savior for me. When I'm writing app reviews on my site I usually do so on my iPad and abbreviate the name of the app, and MW seems to be the only word doc app that lets users do find/replace easily (along with word counts, etc).

It also has cloud integration so you'd have access to everything on other devices.

Just my $0.02. :)
