I want the ringer loud for phone calls, but the message alert is too damn loud. anyway to set the volume on text message alerts?

Some of the alert sounds that you can use are a little quieter by nature than others. Maybe go through them and see if you can find one that is a little less obtrusive? Hope this helps!

true but i found the blackberry profiles to customizable you could spend hours setting up your sounds, then you would have in holster out of holster for each thing,
