Text Message Alerts not coming through

Hi Guys,

For about a month now my texts have not been alerting me. Unless I'm actually in the Messages app, I get no alert and only see the badge. Vibrate is not on, DND mode is not on, but I have noticed something weird: every time I go in to the settings > notifications, under messages, the Banner is getting turned off. Even if I turn it back on when I go back into the settings app its turned back to none again.

Has this issue been addressed before?

I would restore your iPhone and setting up as new.

Try a quick reset, home + power until you see the Apple logo.

If that doesn't work then restore like described.
