Text Message Forwarding - Download All Messages?

Hi Guys,

So I've just enabled Text Message Forwarding on my Mac. Went through the enter-code screen and it seems to be enabled. However, I thought that all the SMS messages on my iPhone will be ported to my Mac as well?

I'm not seeing any of my SMS messages on the Mac, just my iMessages, as usual.

Is this normal?

I think that's normal. Future messages will be synced between devices.

Seems to be what's going on. I was hoping for true sync but over time I suppose it will matter less.

Ah, that sucks. Would have been nice to see all of my messages on my mac as well. But like you said, over time, it shouldn't be much of a problem.
