Text Message not notifying me

    Anyone have the problem of not being notified when you get a text message? Sometimes it will alert me and then other times I'll have received two messages without the phone doing anything. Any ideas?

    Same thing has been happening to me this week. Usually the first message someone sends me has an alert, but their next messages won't alert me. Sometimes it alerts me ten minutes later after I have read the message.
    I have just learned to check the messages app if I am expecting a message.
