text messages arriving late

iPhone 6 with AT&T. Just recently I have a problem with text messages on my phone. I sometimes receive multiple text messages all at once. I have reception the whole time and it seems to be happening most in group messages. Anybody have any experience with this? Not sure if it's a phone issue or carrier settings. Yesterday I was driving and received 64 messages all at once.

Sounds like a carrier problem on AT&T's end.

Just reset your network settings, worked for me. If not, call AT&T and see if there's anything they can do like reset your network or sim?

Do you have your phone number/iMessage paired to a Mac as well?
