    Hi there,

Last night I re installed Leopard (archive and install) in order that I could partition my disk and run boot camp.

Everything seemed to work well but now a lot of my text and the names of documents have letters that appear jumbled and out of order.

I was wondering if anyone knew a way to fix this problem as it is really frustrating. For example spotlight doesn't work as you cant read any of the options and the menu bar is hard to decipher as well.

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I have attached a few pictures of the problem.

That's really funny lol. Have you tried repairing disk permissions?

I don't know what you mean, that's perfectly readable. You sure you aren't losing it? :D

I've seen it before and if I remember correctly it was related to the system fonts. One thing to try, open Font Book, highlight all fonts and go under File > Validate Fonts. You may also want to try Font Finagler. Also check out this page that talks about gibberish fonts.
