text problems on safari

hi there my safari has gone up the wall and id like some advice...some pages like yahoo and others are ok but hotmail and help guides through mac programs have wierd script text.it looks like arabic text gone wrong!any thoughts of how to get it back into english? (ive been through my entire fontbook enabling and disabling all the different fonts of whch i have almost 1000 but none of them seem to be the problem as nothing changes the wierd arabic font on screen) anyone?????

Have you tried clearing out your cache etc and then going back to the problem sites?

That's a good idea. If that doesn't work, then try Resetting Safari from the Safari menu. If you still get no good results, then check your font settings within Safari's Preferences. What's your encoding?
