When I send text messages to multiple people, provided they all have smart phones, it makes a conversation amongst all of us where everyone can see who the messages were sent to and everyone else's replies. Is there a way to simply copy a message to several people without making one big group conversation?

Has been widely discussed here in existing threads.
Other than doing a "copy" function and sending individual messages, I don't believe there is that option.
