Just updated to 15.4 and seems text replacement isn’t working on iPad Pro. Seems to work on iPhone 12 Pro Max.

So just edited one of the text replacements I use and saved the change, and now they all seem to be working. Hope this helps someone else.

I had the same issue — they started working after editing one, or after resetting the keyboard dictionary from “settings>general>transfer or reset iPad>reset>reset keyboard dictionary”, but then would fail again after a few moments. Then after reading your post (thanks!) I tried on the iPhone. It seems that after using them once on the iPhone, they now also work again on the iPad. Weird! Fingers crossed!

No, eventually they failed again. Looks like I need to keep the iPhone handy to resurrect them from time to time.

I’m having something similar. Had to reset my iPhone 12 now all text replacements are gone?? Still on other devices with same Apple ID. How do I get them back?

After testing, I can add/edit/remove:

from iPhone12 Pro -> shows on iMac
from iMac -> shows on iPhone

But ALL OLD replacements still on iMac (there are alot of them) will NOT sync.

Editing a few old listings on iMac will transfer over to iPhone 12 Pro, but most will NOT show up on phone.

All software up to date
All Apple IDs are set and correct

Anyone find a solution?

My Photo Stream also stopped updating... I logged out/in of ID on both devices now ALL of my text replacements are gone on both devices. (and My Photo Stream is still not updating)

None of this was an issue prior to 3/2/22 (date MPS stopped updating photos). This is not noob user error... What is going on!?

tonight MPS started syncing again?!? but alas, the text replacements are still AWOL in my iPhone 12Pro (all other Macs on same account now see complete list: I booted my Mac mini and the missing entries reappeared on my iMac!)

this seems to be an iOS15.4 issue
