When using slide over (which I love BTW), and I’m someplace where I’d be typing, the bar at the bottom of the screen that suggests text, and also allows for formatting (bold, underline, and so on), blocks the little bar that allows for me to swipe up and get to my other slide over apps. Is this just an oversight on Apple’s part? I don’t know how you turn the text suggestion bar off, but I’m not sure I really even want to do this, as it can be helpful.

Anyone else seeing this annoying issue? See screenshot to see the bar that I’m talking about.

That's because you're interacting with the slide over app (Calendar). To change to different slide over app, you need to stop typing in Calendar by touching the Cancel button.

Not that I frequently use the bottom part of slideover but I just tested typing something in a slideover app with my ASK and while that bottom bar is indeed obscured it still operates as expected; I can swipe up to reveal more slideover apps or swipe side to side to switch between them.

I’ve seen this happen in full screen and then slide over I feel like it shouldn’t be a problem or an issue but it is

Just tested this out, and you're right! That fixes the complaint for me, even if it is a little weird from a UI standpoint.
