For some reason, Apple decided to change a default setting in TextEdit with the 12.2 update, so when you open it, it now looks like this:
You can see a page outline that's fixed in size. I don't like this at all. To change back to the old view, go to Format > Wrap to Window. To make this permanent (so it doesn't reset after you quit the app), go to TextEdit > Preferences > New Document and UNcheck "Wrap to page"
