TextEdit does not save table

    I receive a document as an attachment. It downloads and displays in TextEdit just fine. It is a .docx document. The document contains tables with rows and columns. If I add a row to one of the tables and save, all row and column lines disappear and the document prints as a left justified column. Color, underline, and bold remain however the column and row lines disappear.

    I'm quite inexperienced with TextEdit so any help would be greatly appreciated!

    I think you are going to need a word processing app.
    You could use any of Apple Pages, Microsoft Word, OpenOffice.
