Texting by accident

Sometimes when I type and move to the top right portion of the keyboard I click the send button. I feel this is a poor design choice as 1/5 of my messages get sent whilst I'm half way through them.

Is there any way around this? E.g. turning on a confirm message, etc

err... not by default. In the horizontal orientation there's a bit more space between the keys and the Send button.

I've had this same problem quite a bit recently. Seems to have started happening after an update. Maybe they can fix it.

Thank's for the replies.

I guess it happens when I'm in a hurry and sometimes instead of i,o,p I hit send. Thanks for the tip about the landscape position I think it is a bit easier!
