Texts not going since iOS7

Ever since I upgraded my texts do not get to my brother inlaw.
He is the only one I have the problem with and only texts to him.
I get all his texts to me.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix? 🙁

Is he on iOS or did he switch recently to something else.

Looks like a hard reset (holding home and the power) did the trick.
I wonder what else is fixed. 🙂

They were green. His messages to me were grey.
