Nobody seems to have done it yet, but I just want to extend my sincere gratitude to all early adopters. You are the real heroes and heroine's. Your investment in state of the art technology such as the 2016 MacBook Pro is what drives this industry forward. These devices at the end of the day are designed by humans; flaws are an inevitable reality. Flaws and mistakes are always opportunities to make things better, this has been the driving force behind man kind since recorded time.

Although, I won't be in the market for a new MacBook Pro anytime soon, I know that those early adopters from 2012 are responsible for making my 2015 MBP even better.

When 2020 arrives, your work today will be reflected in the education of 2016 and feedback Apple incorporates in making my future MacBook Pro purchase.

Thank you,
Andre
Agree. Early adopters in general will have to experience unfavorable issues on their purchased products, which in general will get corrected on the next iteration so non early adopters do not have to go through with the same issues. Early adopters usually pay the high price for the new products with high price product issues as well :)and try to defend and justify their purchases strongly despite inconveniences they are experiencing to show they made right decision :) it is a typical human reactions.

I bet if you look at statistics on 2012 2013 2014 2015 models, probably same amount of reported errors have existed. Manufacturing errors come from the mass production. And will always be some batches with hardware errors that get replaced or repaired by apple. Could be some software bugs in new drivers when they change gpus or processor architecture and stuff like that though. But those are software errors and is resolved way before the next years model come out, and if that one for example change to kaby lake or get a new network card etc then new issues could arise. So the whole thing that only this redesign is a "beta" test is pure ********.

What's kind of weird about the 2016 MacBook Pro is that it was riddled with problems and complaints, yet it wasn't a rushed release. It was a long overdue update! Maybe they had diverted too many resources away from the Mac and into iOS, watch, etc.

In a similar spirit I am grateful to those who collect nails and screws in their tyres, thereby saving me from punctures.

No need to thank me. I paid $1,499 for a computer worth every penny. If you want to thank anyone, thank Apple for producing their finest notebook yet.

My 2016 is as close to perfect as I can expect and I have no complaints. The only people who complain are those who don't know it.

Why I always prefer to be at the comfier trailing end of tech than the rather pointy cutting edge - but that’s personal preference, any sort of hassle isn’t worth it to me to have the shiny newest latest and greatest...
