By the way, does anyone know if there is a limit to the number of iPods you can purchase with your one time ADC purchase? I was able to add multiple iPods to the shopping cart.

From the terms (PDF):

Your ADC Membership may permit you to purchase a limited number of development systems at a discount. A system is equivalent to one (1) CPU with one (1) monitor; one (1) iMac; or one (1) portable. You may also purchase accessories (such as a monitor, adaptor, or iPod) with each development system. You are limited to one of each type of accessory per system purchased. Discounts will not be applied to accessories purchased separately.

I assume this means one iPod if purchased at the same time as the system.

Does anyone know how long it takes to have your student status verified after signing up for ADC? I don't want to be waiting for weeks to get my MBP. Thanks.

i usually can't stand people say CPU when they don't mean the chip... i can't believe they even did that in apple's terms & conditions... so what, mac pro (dual chips) cant be bought with ADC membership?

Yep...as soon as they verify you, you should have the proper permissions added to the Assets section of your developer account.
