I have been in store and the demos all have a harsh yellow tint on max brightness and True Tone off and auto brightness off it’s not as bright as my Xs max I remember every year this happened and it’s a lottery but apples marketing is not right, it’s not as bright and the whites do not look white, this is what puts me off new devices

Would this really matter if you have the Pro or Pro Max and you have DARK MODE on? When I get my Pro Max, I'll be having it on Dark Mode on 24/7

Brand new devices will always have yellow tint because it is a fresh screen. After a week, the yellow will fade away because it happened to me with the XS MAX

Do you work for Apple Marketing? I mean just because there is a dark mode does not mean the phone should be "at fault" with whites :p.

Well I guess that settles it for everyone ;)

It’s bound to happen. But correct me if I’m wrong, wasn’t the OP the one who did about about a dozen phone exchanges to get the one he wanted?
