They should drop The Crazy Ones. Robin Williams is a great actor but the chemistry just isn't there in this show.

Though, have to say, haven't been enjoying it nearly as much without Donald Glover on the show anyway. He really added a lot.

With little room on its schedule after landing Thursday night football, CBS joined the series pickup fray Friday, ordering four new dramas and two comedies to series.

'NCIS' New Orleans Spinoff: Scott Bakula Nabs Lead Role
The drama orders include NCIS spinoff New Orleans, Kevin Williamson drama Stalker, Tea Leoni political effort Madam Secretary and genius entry Scorpion. They join the previously announced Vince Gilligan/David Shore drama Battle Creek on the network's 2014-15 schedule. On the half-hour side, CBS has added family comedy The McCarthys and Matthew Perry reboot The Odd Couple.
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/cbs-orders-ncis-spinoff-odd-702825

NCIS: New Orleans: The NCIS New Orleans office handles cases from Pensacola through Mississippi and Louisiana to the Texas panhandle. New Orleans with its rich setting of music, fun, and debauchery is a magnet for military personnel on-leave. And with fun comes trouble. It is a natural backdrop for a unique character driven spin-off. Cast: Scott Bakula (Special Agent Dwayne Pride); CCH Pounder (Dr. Loretta Wade).

Madam Secretary: About the personal and professional life of a maverick female Secretary of State as she drives international diplomacy, wrangles office politics, and balances a complex family life. Cast: Tea Leoni (Secretary of State Elizabeth McCord); Tim Daly (Henry McCord); Bebe Neuwirth (Nadine Tolliver).

Stalker: Psychological thriller centered around a pair of detectives who handle stalking incidents for the Threat Management Unit of the LAPD. Cast: Maggie Q (Detective Beth Davis); Dylan McDermott (Detective Jack Larsen).

Scorpion: An eccentric genius and his international network of super-geniuses form the last line of defense against the complex threats of the modern age. Cast: Robert Patrick (Agent Cabe Gallo); Eddie Kaye Thomas (Toby); Katharine McPhee (Paige).

The Odd Couple: A half-hour multi-camera comedy pilot based on Neil Simon’s The Odd Couple. Cast: Matthew Perry (Oscar Madison); Thomas Lennon (Felix); Wendell Pierce (Teddy).

McCarthy's: Family comedy about a loud, sports-crazed Boston clan. Single camera. Cast: Laurie Metcalf (Majorie McCarthy); Joey McIntyre (Gerard McCarthy).

No word yet.

The CW Greenlights 'The Flash', 'iZombie', 'Jane the Virgin' & 'The Messengers'
THE FLASH: Based upon characters published by DC Comics. Through a freak accident, scientist Barry Allen is given the power of super speed that transforms him into the Fastest Man Alive. Cast: Grant Gustin (Barry Allen); Jesse L. Martin (Det. West); Tom Cavanaugh (Harrison Wells).

ZOMBIE: A med student-turned-zombie takes a job in the coroner’s office to gain access to the brains she must reluctantly eat to maintain her humanity, but with each brain she consumes, she inherits the corpse’s memories. With the help of her medical examiner boss and a police detective, she solves homicide cases in order to quiet the disturbing voices in her head. Based on the characters created by Chris Roberson and Michael Allred, and published by DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint. Cast: Rose McIver (Liv).

JANE THE VIRGIN: Adapted from the successful Venezuelan telenovela. A series of surprising and unforeseen events causes a hard-working, religious young Latina woman to be accidentally artificially inseminated. Gina Rodriguez (Jane); Justin Baldoni (Rafael).

THE MESSENGERS: When a mysterious object crashes down to earth, a group of seemingly unconnected strangers die from the energy pulse, but then awaken to learn that they have been deemed responsible for preventing the impending Apocalypse. Cast: Shantel VanSaten (Vera); Diogo Morgado (The Man).

Didn't see Hannibal on that NBC Fall lineup. Mid season start?

Marvels Agents of Shield is a very entertaining show. It's not the smartest or most comedic or best action, but it's quirky and fun to watch. Glad to see ABC stick with it.

WTF is NBC doing? I get that Crisis, in its current state, is more of a miniseries than a series that'll run 10 years, but why do they keep buying series like that? Just like Hostages on CBS last year, did we all expect another family to get taken hostage for the next season?

Something else we all have to keep in mind, NBC has a HUGE commitment on Sunday nights that lasts for 1/2 the normal season run, it's called Sunday Night Football. They can't book full-season shows for the 7 PM-11:30 PM slots on Sunday (for the East anyway, I have no clue what they run starting at 8 in the West).

NBC had a few shows this year that had some promise, Growing up Fisher was one. Believe was OK but it was somewhat predictable. NBC needs to find some new programming, the only series on NBC that I watch regularly are Law & Order SVU and the 2 Chicago shows. Everything else is CBS (I REALLY wish they'd renew Intelligence and give it a shot in a decent time slot but I guess that isn't happening).

Looking forward to NCIS: NOLA. Now they need to transfer Bishop to that office because I feel she better fits in with that wonky group than the NCIS team ( and either throw money at Cote to come back or stick with a 3 person team).
