Just watched the highlights from last night. Question. Given Southampton were expecting nothing from the game, do you think the boost from the draw could save them? A lot of interesting games at the bottom today.

Nah. They're going down. 0 wins in the last 7 games. And all their upcoming opponents can easily beat them/are playing better.

And Wrexham are going up. Paul Mullin with a brace after they went in 1-1 at halftime. So the next season of the doco will have the Hollywood ending the owners hoped for.

And Americans are descending on Wrexham in droves as a result of the show. Interesting to see how this relationship develops.

Why does everyone hate Wrexham? It’s quite a cool story here in Wales.

Because why not buy my football team and make them good ?!?!? :p ;)

SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY and DUMBARTON FC also need saving, but the real reason is they haven't done anything but throw money at them and made them better.

Building a team from the ground up is one thing but the "money changes everything" philosophy is just bullsh*t. It's not like they found a hidden gem. They polished a turd.

And I can't stand Rob McElhenney explaining football to me. This is just like that stupid F1 show.

Although I do like him and Ryan Reynolds as far as acting goes...

Salah equals Robbie Fowler’s goal tally at Liverpool. He’s had an incredible career with the Reds.

Unfortunately money is the deciding factor in the modern game. Look at Chelsea and Man City who were midfield sides before billionaires bought them and tuned them into multi league winning outfits. Sadly the days of teams bringing talent through their own ranks in significant numbers is long gone. I haven’t really followed Wrexhams story other than catching clips on the news.

Poor quality semifinal. United look absolutely gassed, but have managed to keep a clean sheet. Brighton has also made some bad mistakes that United couldn’t take advantage of. Penalties seem inevitable.

Good start for the Hammers. Two goals up inside the first 15.
Spurs are having a torrid time against Newcastle.
A good start and very good result for the Hammers; I would imagine that you are pretty safe from the threat of the drop now.
This has got to be the spursiest Spurs team that’s ever spurred.

Spurs at their Spursiest, agreed.
To be fair it’s contagious. That other North London club has been a bit Spursie of late! 😀

3-0 to West Ham now. I think we are almost safe.
No, we're not spursy - that is a specific condition that afflicts one club.

Rather, we are brittle, (asleep - and not only in defence at times), exhausted, and prone to collapse at times.

United into the cup final, not undeservedly despite the mediocre game. Clean sheet for 120’ and perfect from the spot.
