Nice behaviour of you guys to find ways to put down a very successful and great female footballer, and bring up things from outside the pitch. But no women can’t have feelings and react.
Oh no, that is only allowed men, right ‼️⁉️
Please bring up all the men that are accused for rape’s and abuse!

I just gave it a few minutes - but here you go - I am certain the list goes on much much longer!!

the UK's BBC Match of the Day program is going to be an interesting one. Gary Lineker is leaving and is being replaced with 3 non sports people. As the BBC points out, they are '3 very experienced broadcasters' (BBC calls their presenters 'broadcasters'), Mark Chapman, Gabby Logan and Kelly Cates (Kenny Dalglish's daughter).

To be honest I found Lineker's time as presenter very inciteful because of him being an ex footballer that has played at all levels of the game and in other countries as well meaning he was able to put unique perspectives on things. If it was a club game, a European cup game, an international game or a club cup game, his experiences of playing it all allowed him to offer views and opinions that could only be provided by someone who had actually played the game in those situations and scenarios.

for example, when players are going in for tackles and they either win a free kick, a penalty or get sent off, because he has the mind of a footballer he can give a footballers view on why the player did what they did because he has been there, seen it and done it.

The 3 new presenters will not be able to provide the same inciteful views and opinions on the game as Lineker was able to. Their presenting of Match of the Day is going to much much different to that of Lineker. Good or bad decision by the BBC? we will have to wait and see.

Actually, you need to look back a few years and see the posts where all of us ripped Mason Greenwood and Man United to shreds over his rape allegations. When the needs calls for it we have ripped into male players for their behavior over women.

Your post is therefore unjust.

I've got enough of you and the other’s that are playing there games out of ignorance in this thread for good now. Not all do though.
I left this thread earlier, and was called back.

Don’t try to do that again, I am more then done with the attitude here!
I have way better places with 1000% more knowledgeable guys and women then this little thread.
Enjoy your ignorance 😆

Come on then, what attitude and ignorance is that? When male players have done bad we have posted about it. A female player does bad and according to you we are not allowed to post about it? Who is the one showing ignorance here. It certainly is not me.

Mason greenwood was rightfully hounded out of the UK. I’m not sure why you’ve taken offence.
I’m a Aussie who doesn’t think she’s an acceptable role model.

in bold...well said. When a footballer does bad, regardless of what gender they are, they should be held to account and that is something we have done in here. We have not held any women footballers to account because their game has only really flourished in the past couple of years and thus they have not been in the news and apart from the case with Ms Kerr, there has not been anything substantially bad in the womens game to report on. I think the only thing of note to date was the issue surrounding pay equality with the USA womens team and the fracas that was causing. This incident involving Ms Kerr is the second, compared to loads done by men footballers, most recently Mason Greenwood and the misogynistic views from Joey Barton of women being able to report on the men's game.

As the womens game becomes even more popular and is reported on more frequently they will find themselves more in the spotlight now than ever before thus I have no doubt the media will be reporting on more issues/incidents involving female footballers.

Safe to say results went our way last night, Big opportunity to properly get out of the relegation zone and have some breathing space going into 2 daunting games against Manchester City & Liverpool. Brighton will be tough but i'm optimistic.

Looking at the PL table, the 2 games today will be extremely interesting because if Ipswich win their game and Man United draw their game (cannot see them losing to Southampton) it will put United in a serious relegation situation. I know he has only just joined the club as manager but if Amorim does not start winning games I can see him getting sacked because a couple of wins from Ipswich and Wolves and it puts United close to or into the relegation zone. That would be totally unacceptable for United and as such they would have to respond by sacking the manager.

I don’t think they will sack their manager again this season. He needs time to do a job. You can’t do it all in the first few weeks.

Well if Ipswich were to win their next two games and Wolves were to win their next game and United was to draw their next two games it would mean United would only be 5 points away from the relegation zone. That is a situation United cannot allow. United have to win games. They cannot afford to draw games or even lose games because if Ipswich and Wolves are able to ground out draws and wins, United face the absolute real prospect of being relegated. Yes Amorim has only joined the team but unfortunately time he does not have. He has got to get the team winning and if he doesn't he is going to get the team relegated because United cannot rely on Everton, Ipswich and Wolves doing them favors by persistently losing.

Amorim has lost 4 of the last 6 games. The only teams worse than them are Leicester and Southampton, both teams in the relegation zone. Spurs are also in trouble because they are only a point above United with the same record over 6 games. If Spurs do not buck their ideas up they also could be in serious threat of relegation because apart from Leicester and Southampton, all the other teams are currently doing better than both United and Spurs and if the teams keep doing better and United and Spurs keep drawing or losing, both of them will be in a very serious battle for league survival.

In the last 6 games, Wolves have had two wins and so has Ipswich where as United and Spurs have either lost or drawn. Injuries is going to be a huge factor and if United and Spurs come off worst with injuries we are going to see one of them relegated, .....possibly.

Everton is the only team that could give United league survival because their record is draws and loses and if that continues they will be ones getting relegated not United.

I think Man Utd will be fine this season. Whether Amorim will do a Ten Hag and secure a trophy, we'll have to see. It'll be interesting to see how they perform against Southampton tonight, at any rate, after their battling performance against Arsenal at the weekend.

I hope David Moyes can turn around Everton's current fortunes but I really don't think Everton's fortunes will have too much effect on Utd's own.

It's all conjecture though, really. Who knows what will eventually happen?! Players have to turn up each and every match. Then there's the luck factor, injuries etc etc. For example, who knew that Man City would be so 'challenged' this season? Not me.

Ipswich are not very likely to win their next two games.
I can’t see anyone above Everton getting relegated.

Chelsea negotiating financial settlement for FFP breaches under Abramovic. No points deduction planned...predictably.

Rumours Rangers and Celtic could join the WSL.
In a few years they could be earning more money than the men’s sides. Would that be a first where the women earn more? I mean the club rather than the players themselves I think that would still have a little way to go.

Not the best for us last night. Brighton controlled the opening 20 minutes but we came into the game and from then until the hour mark we were just shading it as the better team. Once Brighton scored however it zapped all belief out of us and they really pressed onto us well and were far ther better team at the end. That said, could/should have been a red card for Joao Pedro for his 'tackle' on Christian Walton.

Atmosphere wasn't great either, we struggle to get ourselves up for the games against the lesser sides, and it translates to the players on the pitch.

Hey ho, nice easy game against Manchester City next 😅

The problem with that happening is which 2 English women's teams wanting to join the league would have to sacrifice their place to allow both Scottish teams to join?

Also, looking at the United team line up, it shows a sad indictment of the English game that one of the countries former leading teams only fielded one English player in their starting line up.

Ipswich losing certainly helped United.

Money will talk. I’m not sure the women’s teams carry the same sectarian baggage the men’s teams do.
If it wasn’t for that I’m sure they would have been Brough in 20 years ago. As it stands the EPL and FA just don’t need the hassle.
